Ive had the most delightful day. Breakfast was spent going through yesterdays post, and its finally been confirmed in writing that our house is now sold (and is no longer ours!). It does feel a little bit strange dressing myself and going to bed in an evening knowing that my bedroom that was once my own is no more. I thought that once I had seen those words on paper that the whole of me would be elated, and, well, I guess thats not wholly the case. There is a tiny (read – rather large) part of me that is terrified and also rather saddened to leave. Maybe its a belonging to a place from childhood, or maybe its a fear of change, of the unknown. Regardless, I’m ridiculously excited embrace a new and impending journey. Ultimately I know the path is mine (and only mine) to pave and Im ready to make the rest of this voyage one to remember – Im ready to install this thing with energy, spirit, and meaning.
Yogi tea is pretty delicious, but I cant say I dont enjoy waking up to the inspiring quotes and messages on their tea bag strings.
Spread the light,
Be light light.”
After this mornings good news, I then headed into town to meet a beautiful friend for coffee.
Lunch was a moo-hasive with beets, spinach, carrot, pepper, tomato, cucumber, black olives, cottage cheese, dulse flakes and vegan mayo. So yummy.
The afternoon was spent relaxing, replying to emails, planning upcoming shoots for August and a shoot for a wedding next week (exciting!), and editing, while it continued to pour down outside.
Dinner was divine. Im working on mixing up my meals, making sure I dont fall into a pattern of repetitiveness, and thus, gaining variety and diligence in actively (not) stumbling or tripping or falling and continuing to kick some butt.
