Like with most things, decorating my bedroom is coming together, more slowly than expected, but the process has been so much fun. The draws from our old abode have now been re-painted (eggshell, white) and I’m waiting until Christmas day to be able to change the draw nobs to pretty little vintage pieces I purchased in Bert’s Home Store for myself for Christmas.
The before and after!
On the same shopping trip I came across these cute little ceramic bowls that I thought would be perfect for holding hair pieces, rings, and accessories and couldn’t help but pick one up.
These two old vintage style sweet jars were another purchase from Berts. I thought they would be ideal for storing essentials in such as cotton buds and pads for removing make-up and they add to the cute-factor sitting on the corner of my chest of draws.
You know when you just see something and know its perfect? This is exactly what happened when this frame caught my eye on an unexpected trip to Hove on Wednesday (those unplanned trips, don’t they always turn out to be the best?!). I hope to fill my wall with an assortment of 10-12 different picture frames eventually, but this one brass 6 x 4 sits on its own for now in the centre of my wall.
More storage? Always. These were actually brought from our last house. Im working to try and make everything fit that we fetched, while trying to make it work with the room.
Christmas lights? I have them all year round (no, really!)
Oh, and not forgetting, these amazing vintage (glass) storage containers also from Bert’s Home Store I bought mother for an early christmas present for the kitchen. I mean, how could you walk past these things and not buy them? Really. They are utterly adorable.
